1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a site. It lets the site work correctly and remember some of your preferences.
2. Our approach: essential cookies only
Zelly only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function and stay secure. We set no advertising cookies and use no third-party trackers for profiling or marketing. These essential cookies do not require your consent, but we tell you about them in full transparency.
3. Cookies we use
- Authentication & session (
sb-*cookies, set by our authentication provider Supabase): keep you signed in to your account. Duration: the length of the session, until you sign out or it expires. - Security (anti-CSRF token): protects forms and actions against fraudulent requests. Duration: the length of the session.
- Language (
NEXT_LOCALE): remembers the language you chose (French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish or Portuguese). Duration: the length of the browsing session. - Display theme: remembers your light or dark display preference (local storage in your browser, never transmitted to third parties). Duration: until you delete it.
- Cookie consent (
cookie_consent_status): remembers your choice so the banner isn't shown again on every visit. Duration: around twelve (12) months.
Payment cookies (Stripe)
When you start a payment or manage your subscription — and only at that moment — our payment provider Stripe sets cookies that are strictly necessary to secure the transaction and prevent fraud:
__stripe_mid: payment fraud prevention. Duration: around one (1) year.__stripe_sid: payment fraud prevention. Duration: around thirty (30) minutes.m(m.stripe.network domain): payment fraud prevention. Duration: around two (2) years.
These cookies are not set while you simply browse the site: they only appear when you expressly request the payment service. They are governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
4. No advertising or tracking
We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertising networks. No cookie is used to follow you across other sites or to build a marketing profile.
5. Managing or deleting cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note, however, that blocking the strictly necessary cookies (authentication, security) prevents you from signing in to your account and from using the service properly.
6. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the service or to regulations. For any question about cookies, you can write to us: the same contact address as in our Privacy Policy applies.
